Once you’ve received that email from the various article directory sites telling you that your article has been accepted, what do you do now?  No, your work is not done… though most of it is

You now want to promote your articles… you’ll want to make sure that the various search engines know that your article is available for the world to see.

The fastest way to do this is to go to a site called del.icio.us.  Once you are there, sign up for an account and then click on “post” in the upper left corner.  Then go to the article directory and log into your account and find out the page where your article is and copy that address from your browser then paste it into the URL box at del.icio.us.  Then within the tags box, type in your keyword phrase that you used for the article.  Now simply click on save.  This should get the search engines to notice your article within a few hours!
