What do you want to know? What do you NEED to know?

It has been a long, but very exciting week :)

I am really excited now however because it means that I get to concentrate solely on this blog again!  Ok, maybe not SOLELY, but I get to concentrate on helping everyone on this blog… so yes, that means you!!!

I have what feels like a million things I would like to teach you, but to really do this the way I would like… to help as many people as possible… I would like to ask you what it is you want to know, what is it that you need to know?  Is there a certain business model (Adsense, Affiliate, Network Marketing, etc) you would like to know more about?  Maybe you want to know about marketing (Articles, Bookmarking, Blogs, Squidoo, etc.) ?  Maybe you want to know how to start with something or how to build sites around a specific plan or maybe something as simple as how to build your first webpage!  I don’t care what it is, post a comment, let me know what you would like to learn about, what you are struggling with the most, what you NEED to KNOW to make it to the next level with your business.

I can’t wait to get started with this and please make sure you take me up on this offer… I truly want to see each and every one of you succeed, so let me know how I can help!

Hi Shannon,

Hard to pin down what I need to know because of the bottle neck Michael has created in only releasing the Cannons in bits and pieces and waiting more than a week to do the first training video.
For me, I am plowing ahead into learning the “make videos” part of the marketing game as I have the 3 cannons Michael has provided all up and just waiting. Started the article marketing part of it, built a blog and some web2.0 properties to promote the sites with but not sure that is how Micheal suggests is the best way to promote.
Will keep you posted..

Just wondering…have you experimented with making review type of sites??

Regards,
Barry

Hi Shannon!

Ok, I am very new to all of this and I would like to know what you recommend I start with as far as marketing goes. I have all three cash cannons built and I am not sure what to do next. Should I submit my websites to the different search engines? Is that what I need to do to start getting organic traffic? I would also like to know how you track your traffic. I want to keep track of stats like you are doing.

I am eager to succeed but almost afraid to just jump in because I want to do things right so I am looking for advice. I would like to explore all different ways to get free traffic and then work on pay per clicks. What and how would you suggest I start with?

Thanks so much!

Linda

Hi Shannon,

Been meaning to become better acquainted with you, although we have “spoken” briefly by e.

One thing I hope never to hear about ever again is Network Marketing, lol! Actually, I’m already a member of the only MLM I will ever consider again (yeah right, I say that now…) but the simple fact is that, even though it’s a product EVERYONE should have, the “system” simply does not work. As the LOWEST priority, I might suggest a discussion on internet marketing aspects of MLMs, but not now - not for me anyway…

I have a few more pressing needs.

Barry alluded to the “bottleneck” and I guess I tend to agree. I’d have been ready for the first training on Monday 10/6 rather than a week later, but am glad he’s doing a show today. It has given me time to reflect on where I really need to go, and where I want to be, so it’s been good.

Anyway, here’s my laundry list:
1. Keywords, SEO, Traffic.
2. Specific recommendation on (free for now) screen capture software.
3. This is a biggie - Market Research Strategies from Nothing to Profit. Okay that’s a good name for a product. NO ONE MAY USE IT! lol! Or maybe “From Duh! to Dough!” “No Idea to Wining Idea” Can’t use any of those either.
4. Structuring a JV. I actually have one in mind.

Let’s get started, k? ;)

Looking forward to working with you, Shannon!
All the best,
Tom in Wisconsin

Matt Says:

got a big one for you Shannon - how do you make an opt-in box. Just that, how do I make one in my dreamweaver cs3 so I can have the info sent to my email.

I’ve never made one of them before, but everyone seems to say make one…so how do I do that?

Thanks!

Barry Says:

Hi Shannon…Update!

Just as a follow up to my prior post here, glad to see that Michael has fixed the “bottleneck” by releasing more cannons earlier. Great news.

Also, just wanted to say that I got my “Fast Cash” cannon online and indexed on the first page of google for a keyword that had 14 million competing pages for the broad term but only 500 competing pages for the “exact match” for the same term in only 24 HOURS!!! A record for me with a static site! I am adding a sneaky little tactic to my static site by adding a folder in my public_html that will add a blog to the site. Should be interesting to see if I can get front page listings for a static site and a blog on the same domain name..hehe…

Anyway…just an update. Don’t want to turn this into a forum but Tom…Camstudio is a free screen capture software that does a good job of making vids. You can purchase Camstudio Pro for $29.00 and it works great. Or, you can actually get a free 30 day trial of Camtasia if you want to give it a try.

And for Matt….the best and easiest way I’ve found for an opt in form is just create one from your autoresponder..Awber or Getreponse..both excellent…has all the code already built in. Just fill in the blanks and add the code it produces to your site.

Ok…off to get my other sites all done before Monday’s release of the affiliate cannons and Tom…good idea on the JV. If any of us have similar non competing products then it would be a great idea to put some of each others products be it pictures, video’s or links on each other’s thank you pages and it would put that wasted piece of real estate to some excellent use. Would anyone be interested in trying that type of deal?

A great day to all,

Barry

slueck Says:

Hi Everybody!

Wow… thank you for taking the time to respond and give me some ideas… I now have some great ones :)

Barry - Congratulations… first page on Google… I love it when that happens so quickly and am happy to hear that some of my advice, as well as your strong determination to get this program going, is working out for you so far! Yes I have completed some review sites (with and without cash cannons) so this could be a great training series for people!

Matt - I use Getresponse for my autoresponders and like Barry said, all you have to do is simply follow their steps in order to set up a opt-in box. I have used Aweber in the past and know that they are very similar as well. I’m thinking maybe this could be a training post for people because I’m sure you are not the only one that would like to know this :)

Tom - I agree with you regarding Network Marketing. I know it works, I have some friends that earn an amazing income following this system, but I like you got burned out. I know how to work it and if people want to know I can teach it, but it is not something I actively do anymore… internet marketing is MUCH easier :)

Linda - good job completing the first steps for the Golden Thread program. Michael is going to be teaching you some different ways to get traffic within the next couple of weeks so make sure and follow that. I will be teaching some Search Engine Optimization methods as we go along in this blog as well (something that Michael doesn’t really teach about). So keep your eye out for that!

Thanks again everyone!

Best Wishes,
Shannon
