Happy New Year Everyone!!!

I can’t believe that 2008 is over… part of me feels like it was a VERY long year and on the other side I can’t believe it is going to be gone in less than 24 hours :)

My life, as well as all of yours, as changed so much in 2008.  I have changed so many things about the way I approach my family, my life, and most importantly, my business!  I have my amazing husband and children to thank for much of this, but I am also giving a very strong and powerful thank-you to Michael Cheney for helping me finally do this!!!  If you have someone that has helped you out this year, make sure you thank them as well!

I need to apologize to everyone for my disappearance act over the last month… I have been replying to comments, but I haven’t been so good at completing posts to help you guys… I’m sorry!  I have been busy working on a new project that I’ll be telling you guys about in the next week in addition to remodeling our bathroom (wow… took longer than I thought, but adding tile to your bathroom is worth every minute of it!) and of course busy with the holidays and family, but I’m sorry I didn’t keep everyone updated!

I hope everyone has had an amazing holiday season and that you are now looking forward to an even better 2009… just like me :)

I personally don’t make New Year’s resolutions (I simply create “resolutions” all year long as needed), but if you are one that does follow this tradition, I hope you take the time to lay it out, plan it out and set small goals, check points, along the way to achieving your big resolution.  Celebrate any kind of success and leave the setbacks behind you.  And most importantly don’t waver, make the decision right now to complete your resolution whatever it takes… oh, and also, make sure you have fun with it :)

Happy New Year Everyone!!! :) :) :)

Hi Shannon,

Firstly, A happy belated Christmas to you and your family and secondly I really like what you said about not having your own New Year’s resolution but actually creating them as you go along. That’s smart advice. I honestly believe that people these days, who have resolutions, tend to give up on them pretty quick because they don’t bother to write them down, plan them out and set themselves goals. And like you said, if people spent more time enjoying and having fun doing their resolutions then I’m sure we’d all be happy bunnies =:-)

regards

Guy

Happy New Year Shannon :-)

I thought I would chime in and let you know that I as well have been helped so much by Michael Cheney this year and owe him so much.

Michael and his wife Laura are wonderful people and I’m lucky to know them.

Hope 2009 is even better than 2008!

Cheers,
John

Thank you Michael and Guy!!!

Yes, I want people to really start doing what they should be doing with resolutions or in other words, goals. The most important steps to completing anything in life are to make the decision and to have fun along the way. Don’t let set backs stop you. And be grateful for everything you do accomplish… focus on the accomplishments. Yes, this would make for happy bunnies :)

Best wishes,
Shannon

Thanks for the add to your blogroll David… I am on Twitter

I look forward to the URL Brian!
