Cloaking Affiliate Links

Hello Everyone,

First off… it has been a very busy week and I just didn’t get a chance to post again.  I’m busy with Easy Video Reviews, Video Cash Explosion, my VCE sites and we are selling the house… yes, it is getting close… we’re getting ready to move :) :) :)

I didn’t get a chance to update you with Michael Cheney’s coaching program and I’m sorry about that.  I’m sure you know that Michael suffered some problems with the launch and has been forced to reschedule… I will let you know more about that once I know more :)

But, for today… I wanted to make sure everyone knows about a free service that will allow you to cloack you affiliate links.  No more Clickbank hoplink to let the world see.  No more long, annoying affiliate link to give out.  And with this it makes it a lot harder for people to take away your affiliate commissions :)

Check it out here: http://offto.net/

Simply follow the directions on the page and then use the generated page for you affiliate links :) This would be great to use with your affiliate links from either Easy Video Reviews or Video Cash Explosion too!

Best Wishes,
Shannon

Shannon,

Great resource, beside offto.net, there are other affiliate cloaking tool like budurl.com or tinyurl.com but I prefer budurl because it track the no of click.

Another great service by Jonathan Leger!

I often use these services although they have some drawbacks. 3 of them are…
1. it does not tell you the number of clicks(as John Tan said) plus some other statistics as different stats services do..
2. There are people that will not click on them since they are not sure where they will redirect you
3. Most of them are used as affiliate links and many people do not like them.

BUT there are also a lot of advantages! You can read it on Jonathan’s blog at http://www.jonathanleger.com/why-you-need-to-use-offtonet-to-cloak-your-affiliate-links/

Anyway..Shannon
We love hearing your news and advices. You should blog more often! :)

Happy Birthday Blog!

The blog had its first birthday. We will love to read
a “A Year In Review” post, about how the Internet marketing “job” changed your life etc.

All the best!
Andreas

Great additional tips!

You’re right Andreas… I think I will write a “happy birthday” blog :) And yes, I should post more often… at least once a week :) I’ll sure try to be better about this for the second year :)

Best Wishes,
Shannon
