My Daily Schedule

Hello Everyone,

I’ve had several people ask me what my daily schedule looks like… so I decided to create a post to show you what I am up do with my business :)

A daily schedule is a bit difficult for me show… because it changes every week based on my boys’ schedule. But on average, I work my business 15 hours a week by working 5 days a week.

Here is an example week for me:

Thursday Answer helpdesk questions Modify 4 articles and submit to 1waylinks SubmitEaze for 6 sites, 10 directories each
Friday Answer helpdesk questions Misc - blog post, onlywire, links, blog comments, etc. for 2 hours
Saturday Answer helpdesk questions

This is a rough estimate on how I work my week. If I am in product creation mode, then I work more hours and cut way back on my promotional items. Same thing if I am launching or have just launched a product. But, a normal week has me creating 1 new video cash explosion site from start to finish and then the beginning stages of promoting it, as well as promoting all my sites.

As you can see from this, approximately 70% - 80% of my time is spent doing promotional work! Not only am I doing promotional work, but I am completing promotional work consistently. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again :)

Consistency is the key to my success!!!

I complete helpdesk support everyday that I am in front of my computer (my first priority these days is making sure my customers are getting what they need). I only spend about 3 hours a week in creation mode, but about 12 hours a week in promotion mode and this is what gets and keeps my sites on the top of the search engines for my chosen phrases week after week, month after month.

Another thing you’ll notice from my table above is that I use various services for my promotional methods. When I was first starting out, I did all of this the free way… in other words, I spent a lot of time on it, doing everything manually. After I started seeing some pretty good money coming in, I knew there were easier ways so I started implementing these services. All of these services are listed on the right side of this blog under the “recommended” section.

My plan over the next month is going to be to go over my various promotional methods and explain how the free version works vs. the paid version so you can see for yourself what you should be doing. Because once you have chosen your keyword phrases and have built your site… you MUST consistently promote your site(s)… that’s the bottom line :)

Its very cool that you share exactly what you’re doing. So many “gurus” out there hide behind their websites and blogs and never divulge how they actually make money online. But you’re different and I for one am very appreciative.

Well this is why so many people fail.
They work 80% on “collecting new information” and 20% on “creation” and “promotion”. I often fall in this information overload *trap* too!

And the “Set and Forget” quote is just a …half lie! I agree that when you dont promote your websites they will eventually DIE! With your 1 page review websites you can make some money but when you build 1 site with 100 pages AND hundreds of incoming links you will make much more money!

Shannon can you clarify these?:

1.)Before submitting to 3waylinks you got to have at least 2 pages indexed. From where do you link first from so you can get the websites indexed in 1 day?

2.)Do you use different accounts for every article directory submission? Because for example EzineArticles does not allows you to have multiple accounts!

3.)On Thursday you “Modify 4 articles and submit to 1waylinks” Are you are talking about the task that you do on Tuesday? “Write and submit 4 articles for 4 different sites”?

4.)What about the other tasks such as niche and keyword research, bonuses creation, email marketing etc?

5.)I thought that 1waylinks service is just for blogs.
Isnt it?

Hello Andreas,

True, with a very large site… that has hundreds of article pages within… you most certainly can make much more money with that one site than with a 1-page site we create with VCE. However, I still personally prefer the VCE method because you don’t have to spend so much time on one site. You can build up a collection of 10-20 sites or more. Giving you many opportunities to make money and earn just about as much as the ultimate large site will. Only with VCE all your eggs are not in one basket so to speak :) It is a personal preferrence though :)

For your questions:
1. With every VCE site you have a privacy policy page and a disclaimer page (so no, “technically” they are not 1-page sites). I bookmark within Onlywire to get all three pages indexed within 72 hours.

2. No, one account for every article submission service, but different pen names for corresponding VCE sites. So, for example with 25 current VCE sites, I have 25 (actually 26 because of my name) pen names within ezinearticles.com

3. Yes, for 1waylinks I use their article spinning service, so I have to modify the articles and then it submits 100 different articles to the 100 different blogs.

4. Niche, keyword research and bonuses are part of my “creation” phrase on Mondays. Email marketing is completed on my misc. Fridays.

5. 1waylinks is a service where you submit articles and those articles are distributed to blogs within the network. So, you must have at least one blog dedicated to the 1waylinks network (the more you have, the more articles you can submit, but I only have one) then you submit articles that are at least 250 words in length. Once the article is approved, it is distributed amongst the blogs within the network. In the members area, it shows you where your article has been submitted. I take that information and submit the page to Onlywire for additional exposure :)

I know that the 1 page (video page) makes more money(because of the different psychological techniques used on the video) than the other 100 content pages that have Adsense ads on affiliate links etc.

However all these 100 pages linking to the homepage will always help you rank higher in the search engines and became an authority site on your niche.

Since its Monday today, I am curious to see, how long will it take for the new website to start earning you money?!

Anyway I cant wait for the coming posts :)

Thanks, I am one of the people that wrote and asked for your Daily Method of Operation (DMO). I have so much info about marketing, and can make the sites easy enough but I get stuck in the daily, what do I do now? and so I end up goofing off because I don’t have a clear plan of action to check off each day to move me forward. That has certainly been my down fall.

I really appreciate your candor and your putting up your schedule. I have just created a spreadsheet outlining my day to day, based on your methods, so each week I now know what to do.

I will work on this method for the next 60 -90 days and let you know how it changing my bottom line.
