My Schedule… Tuesday

Hello Everyone!

First off… I am so sorry for the delay with this post!!!  I had fogotten how time consuming it is to move… couple that with the fact that in the past the most I ever moved was about 300 miles and last time we moved there were no kids and yes, it has been a bit overwhelming!!!  We close on the house next Wednesday, July 15th so busy with that… both of the boys’ birthdays are in July… Tanner turned four today, or yesterday, I just haven’t gone to sleep yet :)  And after we close on the house, we travel for almost a week, then have to find a house, so I’ll be delayed getting back to these posts again… but wanted to give you a heads up this time!!!

So on Tuesday… I complete my everyday task of answering helpdesk questions (also something that has been a bit delayed lately… sorry!!!), I write 4 articles for the various sites I have created in the past and I submit sites to Onlywire.

Lets start with Onlywire.  Everytime I create a new VCE site, part of that process for me is to also create a new Onlywire account.  So yes, at this point I have a lot of Onlywire accounts :)  Every Tuesday I pick from those Onlywire accounts and promote 4 different sites to a couple of different Onlywire accounts.  I NEVER promote the same page to the same account more than one time (this can get you banned)!

I am able to continue promoting old VCE sites because I am constantly creating a new Onlywire account, but also because everytime I write an article to submit to the article directories, I will also add this article as an additional page on my site.  This is something I didn’t start doing until recently, so I made a lot of money with VCE sites prior to adding any article pages to them, but what is great about doing this is that it does give you more opportunities to promote your sites.  So I do recommend that if you know how, you add your articles to your sites on top of submitting them to the article directories by creating a new page and linking to that page from your homepage.

The other thing I do on Tuesday is write and submit 4 new articles.  I know to most of you this seems almost overwhelming… 4 new articles, most likely in industries I don’t know very much about… how do I do this?  I have an unfair advantage that makes it very easy to do :)  When I got started with VCE sites, I did write these articles manually, but I was lucky to get 1 completed a week :(

I now use a program called Instant Article Wizard Pro :)

With this program, I can create amazing articles, whether I know anything about the subject I’m writing about or not!!! Go to the site above to see a video on how the software works!  Basically, you enter in your keyword phrase, say “dog training” and the software goes out and finds information relating to dog training and turns it into an article for you.

Yes, you do need to go through the article and rewrite the results a bit, but when you can take knowledgable, helpful information in your niche and just reword it, it makes writing the articles VERY easy!!!  On average, it takes me about 20 minutes to complete an article.  So, writing 4 articles takes me about an hour and a half and then it takes me about 30 minutes to submit to article directories.

That is my Tuesday… this schedule typically means right at 3 hours of work for me!  I hope this explains my Tuesdays :)  As always, leave any questions/comments for me and I will do my best to get to them!  I will also try to post Wednesday’s schedule faster than I did Tuesday’s, but I can’t guarantee it… I’m sorry!

Best Wishes,
Shannon

Hi Shannon,

Moving house is really a tiring thing to do, further more you have 2 kids, that make it even more tougher. :)

Hi Shannon,

Good luck with the move.

Perhaps I missed this in an earlier post, but I’m wondering if you have a list of the article directories that you submit to?

Shannon,

Great stuff as always but I have a question.

Could you explain the following in greater detail? “…also add this article as an additional page on my site. This is something I didn’t start doing until recently, so I made a lot of money with VCE sites prior to adding any article pages to them, but what is great about doing this is that it does give you more opportunities to promote your sites.”

Do you simply place a blog on your VCE site to post your articles? Or do you create a menu with links to the articles? Or do you place a link at the bottom of the VCE page? Or do you use anchor text within the content?

Does my question(s) make sense?

Do you have an example site that shows this?

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I’m sorry about the delay with these responses :(

Don - I recommend posting your articles to at least the ones listed on this post: http://shannonlueck.com/2008/06/25/submit-that-article-submit-that-article-submit-that-article/

There are other services that you can submit to, but these have always been my most profitable.

John - No, I don’t create a blog. I simply create another page for my site that has the article within the body section and upload that page. In creating the page, I determine 2 or 3 more keyword phrases to start promoting with this new page and incorporate them onto the page. Then I update the homepage with a link to this new article page (usually as a link along the footer with the disclaimer/privacy policy links)and upload the homepage again.

I hope this helps!!!

Best Wishes,
Shannon

Thanks Shannon.

That’s exactly what I was looking for. :-)
