How to use FTP to Upload Your Website

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Wow… I can’t believe it is already almost Christmas… of course my boys are reminding me all day long exactly how long we have until the big morning.  At 6 and 4 this year it is VERY exciting around here :)   I hope everyone is ready and is as excited about the holidays as we are around here this year :)

I am sorry that I haven’t made any posts since Thanksgiving… it has been a very exciting and busy this month!  Between school, sports, the business and just fun family time we have a lot going on and I wouldn’t have it any other way :)

After a month of no posts I decided to make a quick post giving you information on how to use FTP to upload your website.  This is one of the most asked questions I get from my readers so I thought I’d better tackle this one on the blog to help everyone out :)

FTP is really easy once you figure out how to do it!  I have found the following page for you that will give you on screen written instructions: http://www.thesitewizard.com/gettingstarted/howtoupload.shtml

If you prefer to watch (rather than read) the instructions, take a look at this instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_QNHIX972I
(Before watching this video you will still need to download and install a free program called Filezilla… you can find the link to this program in the first link I gave you above.)

I hope everyone has an amazing holiday with friends and family!!!

Best Wishes,
Shannon
